FLORIAN DOUX
SILVER EXPERT
Art historian and an accredited C.N.E.S. expert (National Chamber of Specialised Experts), Florian Doux has benefited from a joint programme of study. He holds undergraduate degrees in both history and history of art as well as two Master diplomas in history of art at The Sorbonne. At present, he pursues his career within the Louvre Museum, where, back in 2017, he committed to co-write a catalogue raisonné of the museum's silverwork collection, which is to be released in 2022.
Simultaneously, he has received training from one of the best galleries within Paris’s Carré Rive Gauche specializing in gold- and silverware, which he has been in close collaboration with since 2015.
Drawing on this dual experience Florian, in partnership with Drew Battaglia and Maxime Charron, creates the Sancy valuation firm, intending thus to employ his expertise and research skills to the advantage of auction houses and individual clients.
